What's the difference between a Something Natural and SOmething Glam Makeup?
At Something Beauty House, we cater to your beauty desires with two distinct makeup styling services: Something Natural Makeup and Something Glam Makeup.
Something Natural Makeup Service: Perfect for those who prefer a minimalist, “no-makeup” makeup look, this service is ideal for any setting, whether it’s day or night. It emphasises a fresh, clean aesthetic with subtle enhancements like neutral eyeshadows, naturally flushed cheeks, and lips that echo your intrinsic colour. Each 60-minute session is designed to subtly amplify your natural beauty.
Something Glam Makeup Service (our most popular request): For those looking to make a bolder statement, Something Glam offers a range from soft glam to full-on drama. Whether you’re attending a special event or just in the mood to dazzle, this service includes high-definition techniques such as detailed contouring, smoky eyes, or vibrant, bold lips. Each session, lasting 60 minutes, transforms your look, ensuring every feature is polished and poised for perfection.
Both services utilise only high-end, skin-friendly products to ensure longevity and a flawless finish that enhances and cares for your skin. Located conveniently in Sydney CBD, Something Beauty House is the perfect spot to prepare for any event or simply treat yourself to a little extra beauty.

What if I have sensitivity or an allergy to makeup or hair products?
When you book a makeup or hair service with us through our booking system, Fresha, we automatically send out a consultation form to your email. This form helps us understand any specific sensitivities or allergies you might have to ensure your safety and comfort during the service.
Additionally, please make sure to inform your artist about any allergies or sensitivities on the day of your appointment. If necessary, we can perform a patch test to ensure the products are safe for you to use.
Your wellbeing is our top priority, and we aim to provide a personalised service that accommodates your health needs.

What if I can no longer make my appointment time?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so by logging into your Fresha online account where you can manage your bookings directly (or contacting us). It’s important to note that deposits are not pre-payments and are non-refundable. However, if you notify us and make changes or cancellations more than 72 hours before your appointment, you will receive a credit valid for 12 months from the original booking date.
For any modifications within 72 hours of your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Be aware that changes during this period are dependent on artist availability, and cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you with flexibility and care.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my service booking?
Deposits for service bookings at Something Beauty House are non-refundable. However, we do offer credits under the following conditions:
- If you cancel your appointment with more than 72 hours’ notice, you will receive a credit that is valid for 12 months from the booking date. This allows you to reschedule your service at a more convenient time without losing your initial deposit.
Any cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment time are not eligible for a refund or credit. This policy is in place to manage our scheduling, compensate our artists for their reserved time, and ensure that we can offer the best service to all of our clients.
Please contact us if you need to make any changes to your booking. We’re here to help and ensure your experience with us is as smooth as possible.
What if I am late to an appointment?
We understand that delays can happen. However, because each service is scheduled within a set timeframe to provide the full experience, arriving late might require us to adjust or cancel your appointment.
If you arrive late, and there isn’t enough time left to perform your service as planned, we may have to cancel the appointment. Please note that all cancellations within 72 hours of the appointment time, including those due to late arrivals, are non-refundable. The deposit will be forfeited in such cases.
To ensure a smooth and timely service, we recommend arriving a few minutes early for your appointment, allowing plenty of time for travel and any unforeseen delays.
